A few months back, the Olde Richmond Civic Association heard a request to turn a motorcycle shop at E York and Cedar Sts. into a restaurant on the first floor with a vacant space next door. From what we understand, the applicant, Samantha Maguire, received approval at ORCA and went to the Zoning Board at the end of September. As it turns out, we can’t make it to every neighborhood’s zoning meetings every month, so we’re a little short on additional information on this project. We’re hearing rumblings on the fishtown.us board that the concept will be an Italian restaurant, but we can’t seem to find anything else out or even get confirmation on that small piece of info. Anyone out there have the inside scoop?
