Months ago, we gave you the heads up about the Penn Treaty Pennthouses, an impressive apartment conversion at the corner of Delaware Ave. and Brown Sts.

As you can see in the photo above, the newly renovated building is immediately next door to a structure that looks like its evil, unrenovated twin. But this will not last long, dear readers. Just the other day, as we were speeding past, we noticed that preliminary work had begun on what we can only imagine will be a Pennthouses II building. Check it out:

    To be torn down. At least according to the renderings. I’ve always thought it was cool but it probably wouldn’t take residents between two useful, public places. I really liked it though.

    Maybe they could use the shybrigde as a garden. Are they putting in a green roof or garden ? Glad to see the reuse… Love old wharehouses. River views , NICE
