Stable Flats, Assemble!

In the Spring, we noticed that the long awaited and then curtailed Stable Flats project, located on the 200 block of George Street, was finally underway. We spotted numerous Superior Wall foundations being installed. signaling the implementation of the first phase of this rather significant project.

Back in May

If you recall, the foundations were prefab, apparently utilizing modular technology. The homes look to be the same, if you take a peek at the first three that have gone up.

Of course, when all is said and done, these homes will look like this:

We’ll keep an eye on this one, and update you as things continue moving along. Kind of nice to go over there to snap new photos, gives us an excuse to grab a pastry at One Shot.

    Get a latte at One Shot too. Amazing. I look forward to seeing the interiors of these homes. It was pretty impressive when the houses were delivered as there were one or two parked outside my office on Germantown Ave. Was a sight to see!

    I like the proportions. Not as massive as the rendering implies. In fact, quite the opposite.

    Christopher – I saw these being set the other day and the interiors are pretty much complete. From what I could see from street level through open doors and windows, they look pretty sleek. They were setting the eastern home and it was moving pretty quickly. In the time that I stopped into One Shot to grab a drink they tied up the 3rd story box, lifted it and set it into place. When you see this happen, it really makes you wonder why more construction is not done in this manner. Great job Onion Flats.
