Last year, around this time, we told you about Patriot House, a housing project for disabled veterans at 1221-25 S. 15th St., built by CATCH (Citizens Acting Together Can Help Inc). The development, which consists of thirteen one-bedroom units and two efficiencies, was dedicated a month ago, and provides “chronically homeless veterans with permanent rental housing and supportive services… to guide residents towards self-sufficiency.”

CATCH rehabbed 3 three-story buildings on 15th St. which were previously in decent shape on the outside, but clearly needed a little TLC.

As we mentioned last week, CATCH is building Patriot House, renovating three row houses on S. 15th St. between Federal and Wharton Sts. for veterans struggling with substance abuse issues and mental health disorders. Yesterday, we were contacted by a representative for the architects on the project, KSK Architects, who sent along a site plan and elevations.

Turns out that CATCH (Citizens Acting Together Can Help Inc.), a local non-profit that provides “Community Behavioral Health” and “Developmental Disability Services,” has an office at 1221 S. 15th St., a few doors down from the ongoing construction. From what we’ve come to understand, CATCH is rehabbing 1215-21 S. 15th St. and 1232-34 Carlisle St. and constructing Patriot House, a housing facility for veterans struggling with substance abuse issues and mental health disorders. Patriot House will consist of 15 one-bedroom and efficiency apartments and should be complete toward the end of the year.
