Dr. Martens’ second east coast location will be the old Harry & David spot at 1710 Walnut Street. Michael Barmash and Michael Kahan of Colliers International sent us the renderings for what the new 3,800-square-foot space will look like. New York-based Green Light Studios have designed something almost exactly similar to the Dr. Martens store in SoHo, with light exposed brick, dark black walls dotted with pastel-colored back-lit display cases, leather tufted sofas and benches and plywood-paneled walls. The two-floor, 500K renovations will be completed by September 1.
