Back in November, we told you about the upcoming construction of a three story building with a commercial space on the first floor and two apartments above. In the past six months, little has happened at this corner, but a reader tipped us off that construction finally got started at 556 N 11th St. in recent weeks. As you can see in the photo below, a foundation will be poured in the next few days.

A reminder, this construction site sits right near a soon-to-be-developed lot at 1013 Green St. that we told you about a couple of months back, which is finally going to zoning in the next couple of weeks.
