US Realty has purchased the former TastyKake complex in East Falls for Grasso Holdings and will break ground at 10am today with a brand-new shopping center, the first one an area like this outside of Philly has seen in a long time, according to Peter Maggio of US Realty. Bakers Square, as it will be called, at 3413 Fox Street (we have a street) will be anchored by a 71,000-square-foot Shoprite, which will be great for the area as there is no grocery store within miles, and has another 164,000-square-feet of retails space for smaller shops.
